This optional pane displays icons for the attachments for the current article. If the attachment is to an image file, a thumbnail of the image is shown. Each attachment's target (file, folder, or URL) is displayed under its icon or thumbnail. Double-click on an attachment icon to open that attachment with the appropriate software.

 

If you do not want to display icons for all attachments, you can remove individual attachments from the Image Gallery using that attachment's Article Attachment Properties Dialog Box, which you can access from the article's Article Properties Dialog Box.
