To write information from Personal Knowbase articles to an external Cardfile formatted file:

Select the Export command from the File menu.

The Export Articles Setup dialog box is displayed.

From the Export Range box, select which articles to write to the Cardfile file.

You may export all the articles in your data file, only the bookmarked articles, the currently selected articles (if a list of articles is selected), only articles highlighted in the Titles column, or just the current article (if an Article Window is the current window).

From the Export What box, make sure that at least Include Titles and Include Article Content are selected.

Select the OK button.

The Export dialog box is displayed.

Select the Card Files option in the Save as Type box.

Use the dialog box to select the folder and name of the Cardfile file you want to write.

Select the OK button.

The Cardfile file is now written to disk.

You may view your new file using the Windows Cardfile accessory. If any of your articles were long, they may have to be truncated to fit on a Cardfile card.  Also, any font formatting in your articles is not exported to Cardfile files.
