| To open a file or Internet address attachment which has been associated with an article:

| Highlight the article's title in the Titles column of the Index Window.
|
| OR Open the article's Article Window by double-clicking on its title in the Index Window.
|
|
|
| Verify that the article has an attachment.
|
|
|
| If the article has an attachment, a small paper clip icon |
|
|
| Select the Open Attachment command from the Article menu.
|
| OR Click on the Article Attachment button on the Toolbar |
| OR Click on the paper clip icon |
|
|
| If the attachment is a file name, the attached file opens in its associated Windows application. If the attachment is an Internet address, your default Web browser opens, and the address is sent to it.
|
|
|
| If you want your attachments to always open automatically when their associated articles are opened, you can set the Attachments preferences from the Articles tab of the Preferences Dialog Box.
|
