Opens a file, folder, or Internet address (URL) which has been attached to the current article. If the attachment is a file, it opens in whichever Windows application is associated with its file type. If it is a folder, it opens a Windows Explorer window showing the files in that folder.
If the attachment is a URL, Personal Knowbase opens whichever Windows applications is configured for that type of URL. Most URLs open your default Web browser and send the URL to it. A mailto: URL should open your e-mail client application.
This command is only available from an Article Window if that article has an attachment or from the Index Window if the currently highlighted article has an attachment. To assign an attachment to an article, use the Article Properties Command (Article Menu).
The keyboard shortcut F5 performs this command. You can also open attachments from a button on the Attachment tab of the Article Properties Dialog Box (Article Menu) or by clicking on the attachment indicator on the Article Window.
