| To find articles in an open data file according to their article dates:

| Select the Find button on the Toolbar. |
| OR Select the Find command from the Edit menu.
|
|
|
| The Find dialog box is displayed.
|
|
|
| If a string is in the Find What edit box, select the string and press the Del key to clear it.
|
|
|
| From the Search Range box, select which articles to include.
|
|
|
| You may search through all the articles in your data file, only the tagged articles, or only the selected articles.
|
|
|
| Type the first date that you want to find articles for in the Dates: from box.
|
|
|
| Type the last date that you want to find articles for in the Dates: to box.
|
|
|
| Check the Show Only Titles box unless you want to view each article as it is found.
|
|
|
| Select the Find button.
|
|
|
| Personal Knowbase searches for all articles in your date range and displays their titles in the Found Titles column of the Index Window.
|
|
|
| Select the Close button to close the Find dialog box.
