Saving a Data File

Whenever you close an Article Window, the article in that window is automatically saved to your data file.

If the information in the article has been modified, a Save Article Dialog Box is displayed asking you to verify that you want to save the changes. Select Yes to save your article. If you check the box at the bottom of this dialog box, any subsequent changes made to articles during this Personal Knowbase session are saved without verification.

To save your article before closing the Article Window, use the Save Article command from the Article menu.

To save changes made to ALL articles, use the Save File command from the File menu. This command also saves any changes made to the user preferences, file properties, and bookmarks.
