Not Displaying the Save Article Warning Message

Glossary  Return to Start  Previous  Next

By default, whenever you close an Article Window to which unsaved changes have been made, a warning message is displayed requesting verification to save the changes. You can prevent this warning message permanently from being displayed. If you do so, all changes made to an article are automatically saved when the Article Window is closed.

To turn off the Save Article message:

Select the Preferences command from the File menu.

The Preferences dialog box is displayed.

Select the Articles tab.

Click on the Save Articles without Displaying Warnings checkbox.

If the box is checked, no warnings are displayed. If the box is not checked, warnings are once again displayed.

Select the OK button to close the Preferences dialog box.
