Creating a Printed Index

To create a printed index of all the keywords in your data file and the articles associated with them:

 

Select the Report command from the File menu.

 

A cascading menu appears showing the reporting options.

 

Select Index Report.

 

The Index Report Setup dialog box is displayed.

 

Select the Select All button.

 

All keywords are moved to the Included column.

 

Select the OK button.

 

The Index Report Window is displayed, listing all articles associated with each keyword.

 

Select the Print button.

 

The Print Index Report dialog box is displayed.

 

Select the OK button.

 

Your Index Report is sent to the printer.

 

To close the Index Report Window, select the Close button.

 

Before printing, you may want to check the page format. Select the Page Setup command on the File menu to change margins, page numbering, page header and footer, and other printing format options.
