| Make sure that a data file is currently open.

| OR Select the New Article command from the Article menu.
| A blank Article Window is displayed.
| Type a title for the new article in the first edit box.
| The title is a name used to uniquely distinguish this article of information.
| Click on the large Article Content area of the window.
| Type or Paste the article content.
| Enter the information you want to store.
| You probably want to add keywords to your article. See the procedure for Assigning a Keyword to an Article.
| Click on the window's close box |
| This saves the article permanently in the data file. The title of the new article is displayed in the Titles column of the Index Window.
