| You can link to another article by creating a hypertext link in the Article Window which points to the other article.

| To add a link to another article:
|
|
|
 | Make sure that the Article Window is open.
|
|
|
| If the Article Window is not open, double-click on the article's title in the Titles column of the Index Window. Refer to the procedure for Entering New Information to create a new article.
|
|
|
| Click on the location in the Article Content area of the window where you want to put the link.
|
|
|
| Select the Insert Hypertext Link command from the Edit menu.
|
|
|
| The Hypertext Link Properties dialog box is displayed.
|
|
|
| In the Link Text field, type the text label that will appear in your article's content to identify the file.
|
|
|
| If you used the Insert Hypertext Link command with a string of text selected, that text is displayed as the default Link Text.
|
|
|
| In the Link Type box, click on the Knowbase Article option.
|
|
|
| Click on the Browse button.
|
|
|
| The Select Article Link dialog box is displayed.
|
|
|
| From the Select Article list, select the title of the article that you want to link to.
|
|
|
| A preview of the selected article appears in the Preview area.
|
|
|
| Select the OK button.
|
| OR Double-click on the article title in the list of articles.
|
|
|
| You return to the Hypertext Link Properties dialog box. The selected article's title is displayed in the Target field.
|
|
|
| Select the OK button.
|
|
|
| A hypertext link to this article is inserted in your article at the cursor location.
