Personal Knowbase allows you to customize which articles are displayed in the Index Window when the software starts. You may start with the titles of all articles in your data file displayed, with only the titles of bookmarked articles displayed, or with an empty Titles column.

To start with only certain articles listed, bookmark those articles. To bookmark articles, refer to the procedure for Bookmarking an Article.

To change which titles are displayed:

Select the Preferences command from the File menu.

The Preferences dialog box is displayed, showing the Index Window tab.

From the Default Display box, select Show Bookmarked Titles to default to the bookmarked titles. Select Show No Titles to default to an empty Titles column.

Select the OK button.

The next time you start Personal Knowbase, the specified titles will be displayed in the Index Window. They are also displayed whenever no other titles have been selected.
