About Bitsmith Software

Bitsmith Software is a privately-owned mISV (micro independent software vendor), created in 1997.

We are located in Pinole, California, a suburban community located somewhere between Berkeley and the Napa Valley. We are just far enough from Silicon Valley to avoid the worst of the traffic and just close enough to have access to some great computer stores.

We specialize in Windows-based tools for organizing data. Our flagship product, Personal Knowbase, is a freeform information organizer. Personal Knowbase was first released in 1998 on CompuServe.
