Sorts the articles in the Titles column of the Index Window by title or date, ascending or descending. Select which sort option you want from the cascading menu. The option currently in use is checked.

 

Sort options:

 

Titles Ascending sorts articles by their titles, from A to Z.
Titles Descending sorts articles by their titles, from Z to A.
Dates Ascending sorts articles by their article dates, from earliest to most recent.
Dates Descending sorts articles by their article dates, from most recent to earliest.

 

 

Sorting from the Titles Column Header

 

You can also sort the Titles column by clicking on Titles or Dates in the Titles column header in the Index Window. An arrow is shown above the dates or titles, indicating the method of sorting. An up arrow indicates that the titles are sorted ascending. A down arrow indicates that the titles are sorted descending.

 

Click on the bookmark icon on the header to group all bookmarked articles together at the top of the Titles list. Similarly, you can click on the attachment icon , hypertext link icon , password icon , or reminder icon to group all corresponding articles together at the top of the list.
