Selects a name for the resulting compacted data file. This is the second dialog box displayed when you select the Compact Command (File Menu). Select the Save button to compact into this file. Select Cancel to cancel the operation.

 

If the same name is selected in both dialog boxes, a backup file of the original data file is created. This file has the same name as the original file, but with the extension BAK.

Select the folder for the compacted file.

Select or type the name for the compacted data file. All Personal Knowbase data files in the selected folder are shown.

 

Save as Type

 

Only Personal Knowbase data files may be compacted.
