At the bottom of the Window menu is a list of all open windows. Selecting an article title from this list brings the corresponding Article Window to the front, making it the current window. Selecting Index from this list brings the Index Window to the front.

 

The current window is checked.

 

To quickly bring the Index Window to the front, select the Index button from the Standard Toolbar.
