The Undo command reverses the last change made to the current article. Generally, this command is available if the current window is an Article Window and if changes have been made since the article was opened or saved. Saved changes are not undoable.

When you do a Replace operation on the current article, this command becomes Undo Replace. If you use the Undo Replace command to undo the operation, the command becomes Redo Replace, which allows you to redo the replace operation. Similarly, when you do a Replace All operation on the current article, the command becomes Undo Replace All and Redo Replace All. For more information, see Replace Command (Edit Menu).

When you do an Import operation, this command becomes Undo Import. If you select this command immediately after the Import, it removes the newly imported articles permanently from your data file. For more information, see Import Command (File Menu).

To access this command quickly, select the Undo button from the Standard Toolbar.

The keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Z performs this command. To reverse all changes made to the current article, use the Undo Article Changes Command (Edit Menu).
