Export Articles to Folder Dialog Box

Glossary  Return to Start

Exports each article in the export range to a separate external file. Select a Target Folder for the exported files, then select the OK button to export the files. Select Cancel to not export files.

The name of each exported file is the title of the article with the appropriate extension type added (TXT, RTF, or HTM). If there are duplicate article titles, consecutive numbers are added to the file names after the first article. Special characters in article titles are converted to underscore ("_") characters in file names.

This dialog box is displayed when you select the Export Command (File Menu) and choose the option to export each article to a separate file.
