| To write information from Personal Knowbase articles to an external Cardfile formatted file:

| Select the Export command from the File menu.
|
|
|
| The Export Articles Setup dialog box is displayed.
|
|
|
| From the Export Range box, select which articles to write to the Cardfile file.
|
|
|
| You may export all the articles in your data file, only the tagged articles, the currently selected articles (if a list of articles is selected), or just the current article (if an Article Window is the current window).
|
|
|
| From the Export What box, make sure that Titles & Article Text is selected.
|
|
|
| Select the OK button.
|
|
|
| The Export dialog box is displayed.
|
|
|
| Select the Card Files option in the Save as Type box.
|
|
|
| Use the dialog box to select the folder and name of the Cardfile file you want to write.
|
|
|
| Select the OK button.
|
|
|
| The Cardfile file is now written to disk.
|
|
|
| You may view your new file using the Windows Cardfile accessory. If any of your articles were long, they may have to be truncated to fit on a Cardfile card. Also, any font formatting in your articles is not exported to Cardfile files.
