Reminders Dialog Box

Glossary  Return to Start

Shows a list of all existing reminders for this data file and the articles associated with them. This dialog box always stays on top of other Personal Knowbase windows. You can do other work with your articles without closing this box if you prefer to leave it open.

This dialog box is displayed when you select the Manage Reminders Command (Article Menu) or whenever a reminder is due.

You can create new reminders or edit and delete reminders which you previously created. Click on an article title to highlight its reminder, then click a button to select an action. To modify multiple reminders at once, you can highlight more than one by Selecting Multiple List Items.

If the dialog box pops up because a reminder is due, the list shows only the Current reminders. A Current reminder is any reminder which is past its due date and time. Double-click on a reminder's line to open the corresponding article.

Select the Close button to close the dialog box. Note that closing the dialog box does not dismiss or snooze any current reminders. It only hides the dialog box. Any current reminders not deleted or snoozed will be listed as Current the next time this dialog box is opened.

NOTE:Reminders will pop up as soon as possible after the specified date and time when Personal Knowbase is running and the current data file is open.

NOTE:For an explanation of reminders, see About Reminders.
