Duplicate Imported Articles Dialog Box

Reports newly imported articles which are exact duplicates of articles already present in the current data file. Mark which duplicate articles you want to delete. Select the OK button to delete the marked articles and continue importing all other articles. Select the Cancel button to continue the import operation and import all duplicate articles.

 

NOTE:Articles are considered to be duplicates only when both their titles and article contents are identical.

 

This dialog box appears only when you have set the Duplicate Articles option from the Import tab of the Preferences Dialog Box to the Report Duplicates option.

 

Mark Articles to Delete

 

Lists all newly imported articles which are identical to articles already in the current data file. The title of each duplicated article is listed. Below the title, the date and keywords assigned to each imported copy of this article are listed.

 

Highlight an article in this list to preview its content in the Content of Highlighted Article area.

 

To delete an article, click on the checkbox in front of the date and keywords listing of the copy of the article that you want to delete. Click on the checkbox again to remove the check mark. When you select the OK button, all checked articles are deleted.

 

Buttons

 

Mark All

Marks all duplicate articles for deletion.

 

Unmark All

Removes the check marks from all checked articles.
