Select File Link Dialog Box

Creates a hypertext link in the current article to an external file on your computer. This dialog box is displayed when you select the Insert Hypertext Link Command (Edit Menu) and Browse for a File Name link type. Select the Open button to create the link. Select Cancel to return to the Hypertext Link Properties dialog box.

File Selection

Look In

Select the folder that contains the file you want to link.

File Name

Select or type the name of the file link. All files in the selected folder are shown.

Files of Type

Any type of file can be selected as a hypertext link.
