Keywords are useful for retrieving information related to a specific topic from your Personal Knowbase data file. By changing the Selected Keyword Mode, you can retrieve articles related to ALL or ANY of the keywords listed in the Selected column.

To list articles related to ALL of a group of keywords, see Retrieving Related Articles. To list articles associated with at least one of a group of keywords:

Select the Selected Keyword Mode command from the View menu.

A cascading menu appears.

Select the OR option from the cascading menu.

The header of the Selected column becomes Selected (OR).

In the Index column of the Index Window, highlight a keyword relevant to the information you want.

Select the Right button.
OR Double-click on the keyword.

The highlighted keyword moves to the Selected column of the Index Window. Only the titles of articles related to that keyword are now displayed in the Selected Titles column of the Index Window.

Continue selecting additional keywords until you have included all the keywords you want.

As each keyword is selected, more titles appear in the Selected Titles column which are related to at least one of the selected keywords.

You can open one of the listed articles by double-clicking on its title.

An Article Window showing the contents of this article opens.

To close the article, click on the window's close box.

NOTE:Another way to find articles associated with any of a list of keywords is by using the Build Query Command (Edit Menu) and stringing the keywords together with a string of OR operators.
