| To remove a keyword entirely from an open data file:

 | In the Index list in the Index Window, click on the keyword you want to delete.
|
|
|
| The keyword is highlighted.
|
|
|
| Press the Del key on your keyboard.
|
| OR Select the Delete Keyword command from the Keyword menu.
|
|
|
| Personal Knowbase tells you how many articles the keyword is currently assigned to. To verify that you want to delete the keyword, select the Yes button. The keyword is deleted from your data file.
