Creates new keywords in your data file without assigning them to any article.
Type a keyword into the New Keyword edit box to create it. Select the OK button to add the keywords in the New Keywords list to the data file's Index. Select Cancel to exit without saving the new keywords.
This dialog box is displayed when you select the Add Keyword to Index Command (Keyword Menu) or press the Ins key in the Index column of the Index Window.
You can resize this dialog box by dragging the bottom edge of the window.
Keyword Boxes
New Keyword
Type a keyword here and press Enter to add it to the New Keywords list. If you press Enter when the New Keyword line is empty, the dialog box closes and the specified keywords are created.
Existing Keywords List
This list shows all keywords already in the current data file.
New Keywords List
This is the list of newly created keywords. To remove a keyword from this list, highlight the keyword and press the Del key or select the Delete button.
Buttons
Clear
Removes all keywords from the New Keywords list.
Delete
Removes the currently highlighted keyword from the New Keywords list.
Keyword Groups
Show/Hide Groups Button
Click this button to display an optional list of keyword groups to the right of the New Keywords list. Click the button again to hide the list of keyword groups.
Add New Keywords to Selected Groups List
This optional list shows all of the keyword groups in the current data file.
Highlight the name of a keyword group to assign all of the new keywords to that group. Highlight multiple group names to assign the new keywords to each of the highlighted groups. The count of groups currently highlighted is shown in the header.
To un-highlight (or highlight) a single group, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the group's name.
